Sleepless nights. Multiple coffee breaks. Late night studio revelries. Setbacks and triumphs. Dead ends that eventually led to ideas that worked. It’s hard to believe that its only been 10 months since I came to Singapore. My findings around the city have led me through a journey that has been both tough and enlightening. There is a lot that I have learnt and a lot more that I still need to. And now, as I view my final exhibit, I take solace in the fact that it has all been worth it.
The journey I have undertaken in my research and observations of Singapore during the past few months are presented through the creation of a book. Divided into three sections: change, reality and identity, the book is a graphical interpretation of my understanding and analysis of the factors that shape the country.
